110절. 마음 Mind                                                                      

 

마음 Mind

일체만물 허공법계 In the void of all things,
모든것이 내것이니 Everything belongs to me,
천상천하 유아독존 Heaven and earth, self-reliant,
범부중생 실상들에 Among all living beings,
탐착함이 어리석네 Attachment is foolish.

우리들의 삶속에는 In our lives,
필연적인 욕망들과 Inevitable desires
더불어서 살아가니 Coexist,
이것들을 극복하여 Overcoming them
증득함이 과제이네 Is the task.

오직도는 마음깨침 Only through enlightenment of the mind,
마음이곧 부처이며 The mind is Buddha;
일체중생 모두가다 All living beings,
불성갖고 있는고로 Inherently possess it,
버린순간 부처되네 Upon abandonment, one becomes Buddha.
