27절.  휴식, 안식일  Rest, Sabbath                                      

휴식, 안식일

옛날옛적 사람들은 In ancient times, people
쉬임없이 일을하여 Toiled without respite,
생각이나 사고들을 Deprived of time for
할수있는 시간없어 Thought and contemplation,
무의미한 삶살았네 Leading a meaningless life.

안식일의 중요함은 The significance of Sabbath
육체적인 휴식들과 Lies in physical rest,
정신적인 휴식으로 And mental repose,
사는삶의 풍요로움 A richness in life experienced
느끼도록 할수있고 Through both.

여유로운 삶의행복 In the leisure of a happy life,
휴식으로 진리찾고 Discovering truths through rest,
기도하고 회개하며 Praying, repenting,
희로애락 탐진치를 Breaking free from the pursuit
벗어나서 살수있네 Of trivial desires.

휴식없이 일을하면 Working without rest,
일의능률 안오르고 Efficiency does not rise,
고단함에 짜증나고 Irritation grows with fatigue,
그마음이 전해져서 Spreading discontent,
아귀다툼 생긴다네 Leading to conflicts.

휴식이란 자유로움 Rest is freedom,
그속에서 진리찾고 In it, finding truths,
서로서로 교통하고 Interacting with one another,
즐거움에 사는삶에 Living joyfully,
하나님을 찬양하네 Praising God.
