47절. 새술은 새부대에 New Wine in New Wineskins      

 

새술은 새부대에 New Wine in New Wineskins

진리탐구 위하여는 In the pursuit of truth,
다른각도 여러위치 vary perspectives and positions,
바꿔가며 시도하고 experimenting with different angles,
가장좋은 새법찾아  constantly seeking the best method,
단무지로 꾸준하게  steadfastly and diligently, like pickled radishes.

새로운건 나름대로 Something new in its own way
이론적인 뒷바침에 on a theoretical basis
효율적인 방법갖고 with an efficient method
진리찾는 수만가지 Tens of thousands of things to find the truth
그중하나 방편이네 It's one of them

각자맞는 방편으로 Devote oneself wholeheartedly
지극정성 수련하여 to diligent practice with a suitable means,
돈오돈수 돈오점수 sudden awakening-sudden cultivation, sudden awakening-gradual cultivation
진리찾고 증득한후 After finding the truth and gaining it
자기자신 선택일세 It's your own choice

방편이란 무조건적 It's unconditional
새로운게 옳다거나 Something new is right
옛날것이 틀리거나 If the old ones are wrong
하는것이 아니이며 I'm not doing it
자신만의 방법으로 in one's own way

옛날방식 이라해도 Even if it's the old way
자신과의 적성맞고 It's a good fit for you
정성들여 행을하니  Since I'm doing it with all my heart
빠른시간  성취함이 It's a quick accomplishment
새로운것 관계없네 It's nothing new
