행복의 삶  A Life of Happiness

죽음이란 망상탈피  Death is shedding delusions
해달처럼 밝은세계  A world as bright as the sun and moon
오랜번민 그끝에서  At the end of long anguish
심신속에 찾아오지  It comes within body and mind

자기자신 없었다네 The experience of having no self
이런경험 근본경험  Such an experience is fundamental
그런경험 치르고저  Desiring to undergo such an experience
나온존재 현존재라  Emerges the existing existence

현존재는 무라하고  The existing existence is nothingness
자아없이 존재하고  Exists without ego
무라한것 드러나니  As nothingness reveals itself
근본경험 무의경험  Fundamental experience is the experience

                                of nothingness

없는육신 현존재라  The non-existent body is the existing existence
없는것이 사는거라  Living is non-existence
사는것은 그대로라  Living is just as it is
밝은태양 불을뿜듯  Like the bright sun emitting fire

스승진리 설하는것  The truth preached by the teacher
그존재가 스승이라  That existence is the teacher
어린아이 젖먹이듯  Like a baby suckling
어머니가 진리이라  The mother is the truth

내속안에 죽음있고  Death is within me
죽음속에 나있으니  And I am within death
안과밖이 하나로다  Inside and outside are one
없는것과 하나되고  Becoming one with nothingness
내가되어 없어지니  Becoming myself and then disappearing
이제서야 나타낸다  Now it manifests
그속에서 나타낸다  It manifests within it

사랑속에 죽음속에  Within love, within death
시간성을 경험하고  Experiencing temporality
아이사랑 부모사랑  The love of a child, the love of a parent
큰본성이 나타나니  The great nature appears

자기희생 뒤따르고  Followed by self-sacrifice
나의몸을 보시하고  Offering my body
혼조차도 없애나니  Even eliminating the soul
생명출현 빛의열림  Life emerges, light opens
존재회복 근본사랑  Restoring existence, fundamental love

석가성불 산천초목  Buddha's enlightenment, mountains and plants
동시성불 내자신이  Simultaneous enlightenment, myself
깨달으면 일체가다  When enlightened, all is one
깨닫는것 한순간에  In the moment of realization
모든순간 깨쳐있다  Every moment is realized

이세상에 사람들이  In this world, people
역사하기 위해서는  To make history
고유한것 드러나야  The unique must reveal itself
드러나기 위하여는  To reveal itself
자기자신 없다하는  One must experience having no self
체험들을 가져야지  Must have such experiences
육체적인 정신적인  Physical and mental
한번자기 없다하는  Experiences of having no self once
체험들을 가져야지  Must have such experiences
몸이있다 없다하는  Experiencing the presence and absence 

                                of the body
마음있다 없다하는  Experiencing the presence and absence 

                                of the mind
의식없고 느낌없이  Without consciousness, without feeling
그때에는 상쾌하고  Then, it is refreshing
행복함이 저절로라  Happiness comes naturally
