고통체험 필요하네 One needs to experience suffering,

노래한곡 울림위해 For the resonance of a song,
마음공간 필요하고 One needs mental space,

아름다운 운율위해 For beautiful rhythms,
비운마음 필요하네 One needs an empty mind.

마음여유 없는이는 For those without mental freedom,
음악이란 그저소음 Music is just noise,

고통체험 없는이는 For those without the experience of suffering,
아량깊이 부족하고 Their understanding lacks depth,

비운마음 없는이는 For those without an empty mind,
어떤감동 울림없고 There's no deep emotion or resonance,
