101절. 귀의 Respectful Devotion                                         

 

귀의 Respectful Devotion

스님되기 위해서는   To become a monk,
자식부모 형제자매   children, parents, siblings
모든것과 인연끊고   I'm going to break up with everything
몸마음이 하나되어   Body and mind unified,
부처님께 귀의하네   Devoting oneself to the Buddha.

기독교에 귀의하네   In Christianity, devotion
깨끗하고 바른마음   Comes with a pure and righteous heart,
참된믿음 가지고서   Holding true faith,
가르침을 실천하여   Practicing teachings
아름다운 세상구현   To manifest a beautiful world.

무엇인가 공경함에   In reverence for something,
그에대한 두려움과   Let go of fear
누군가의 강요의해   And the desire for
돈과권력 얻으려는   Money and power through coercion,
삿된생각 버리고서   Abandoning selfish thoughts.

실제진리 깨달으신   Seeing and hearing
가르침을 보고듣고   The teachings of those
닦아이룬 스승님을   Who have realized the truth,
우러러서 존경하고   Respect and believe
믿는으로 공경하네   In the teacher who has polished them.

수행통해 현세평화   Through practice, achieve worldly peace,
희로애락 윤회로의   Through joy and sorrow, transcend
괴로움을 벗겠다는    The suffering of cyclic existence,
흔들리지 않는믿음   With unwavering faith
하나님께 귀의해야   Devoted to God.
